Door-to-door employment (H-2)
 

- Visiting employment (H-2) visas are issued to compatriots in China and the former Soviet region (CIS) who wish to stay in Korea for a long time and engage in employment activities.

• Requirements subject to issuance: (1) Koreans aged 18 or older in China and the former Soviet region (CIS)*
  *6 countries of the former Soviet Union (CIS) : Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan
• Period of stay: 3 years (free entry and exit guarantees within this period)
→ However, those who want to stay more than 91 days must first ' the alien registration card.
You can stay for up to three years after the alien registration card.
Regarding the extension of the stay period during the stay, please refer to the detailed explanation of the qualification for employment (H-2) at the end of the year.

√Cautions: Employment activities are only available within the scope of employment activities of Bingmun

Door-to-door employment (H-2) is eligible for employment activities, but not all industries are eligible for employment.

According to the Immigration Control Act, the scope of door-to-door employment activities is set, so if you wish to stay as a door-to-door employment (H-2) qualification, please refer to the detailed explanation of the door-to-door employment (H-2) qualification at the end.

• Documents submitted: visa issuance application or visa issuance recognition application, travel copy, 1 photo, fee, Korean certification document, Korean language proficiency document, overseas criminal history certificate, tuberculosis certificate, etc

※ Individual submission documents differ depending on whether or not they are registered in Korea

• Companion Family Stay Management Qualifications

- Spouses and underage children who are eligible for overseas Koreans (F-4) and visiting employment (H-2) may be eligible for visiting cohabitation (F-1), but it is necessary to clearly confirm the family relationship through public documents (such as family register, marriage certificate, etc.) of the country of nationality

- If the father or mother is registered as a foreigner (reporting of residence) and is staying in Korea, and the child meets the following conditions, the qualification for overseas Koreans (F-4) may be granted

- Where a student is enrolled in an elementary, middle, and high school in Korea, or is 6 to 18 years old when it is inevitable to attend a school due to long-term disease treatment or severe disability

• Foreign registration

- Foreign national registration is required by visiting the immigration/foreign government office under the jurisdiction of the place of residence within 90 days from the date of entry

- Documents to be submitted: consolidated application form, passport, 1 photo, documents to prove the place of stay, fees, documents to prove family relations, etc

• Permission to extend the stay period

- The period of permission is up to two years once, and can be extended within the period not exceeding the period of stay of the main residence qualifier
- Documents submitted: consolidated application form, passport, alien registration card, family relationship verification document, residence verification document, fee, enrollment certificate, etc
- Minor children who have registered as foreigners can be allowed to extend their stay to under the age of 25 if their father or mother has stayed in Korea for more than three years (excluding married children)

• Permission to change status of stay

1)Permission requirements for each family member

- Spouses of compatriots: In principle, overseas diplomatic visas are issued, and changes in status of residence are permitted on a limited basis

- The father or mother of the preschool children of the compatriots and the compatriots attending elementary, middle, and high schools in Korea: Permission after proving family relations with compatriots with a birth certificate of their own country, etc

2)Documents to be submitted: consolidated application form, passport, 1 photo, family relationship verification document, residence verification document, fees, etc

• Status of stay

- Within 90 days of the child's birth date, visit the competent immigration and foreign government offices to apply for the child's status of residence (F-1) and register as a foreigner
- Documents to be submitted: consolidated application, passport, 1 photo, birth certificate, proof of place of stay, fees, etc
